Karla practices in the areas of real estate (residential and agricultural), estates and estate planning and corporate/commercial law. She also has considerable experience in family law which includes preparing cohabitation/pre-nuptial agreements, negotiated separation agreements and divorce matters.

 

When not practicing law, Karla is active in the community and volunteers with various organizations. She is currently a board member of the United Way Brandon & District, and had previously served as a board member of Brandon Chamber of Commerce, Brandon Neighborhood Renewal Corporation and the Brandon Food for Thought Program. Karla was also the former President of the Western Manitoba Bar Association.

 

Karla obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brandon University in 2004 and received her Law Degree from the University of Manitoba in 2007. She articled with the Firm and received her call to the Bar in 2008.
